Equipment Description
ELTRA's CS-d is the only analyzer on the market capable of determining carbon and sulfur in both organic and inorganic samples. For this it is equipped with an induction furnace and a resistance furnace that allow it to cover the entire range of applications in carbon and sulfur analysis (ELTRA Double Furnace Technology, EDF).
Like the CS-800, this instrument can be equipped with up to 4 independent IR cells for the simultaneous and accurate determination of carbon and sulfur content in both high and low concentrations. The sensitivity of the infrared cells can be configured individually by modifying the length of the optical path. This ensures optimal measurement conditions for each application.Advantage
- Total flexibility due to the combined induction and resistance furnace: ELTRA Dual Furnace (EDF) Technology
- Fast, accurate and reliable analysis of carbon and sulfur in inorganic and organic samples
- Up to four independent infrared cells with flexible measurement ranges
- Gold IR path that allows to increase the cell life time for the analysis of halogen or acid content samples
- Simultaneous determination of carbon and sulfur with minimal sample preparation
- Low maintenance
- Robust design allows use in laboratory and production control
Induction oven:
- Adjustable and rampable induction furnace (0-100%) for optimized combustion of all types of inorganic samples (maximum temperature greater than 2,000 ° C)
- Accurate analysis of carbon and sulfur in inorganic samples due to intelligent oxygen supply during inductive combustion
- Optional automatic vacuum cleaning system ensures higher measurement accuracy
- Easily accessible, heated dust trap allows for better sulfur detection
- Optimized catalyst reactor enables more accurate carbon detection
Resistance furnace:
- Adjustable resistance furnace temperature from 600 ° C to 1,550 ° C in steps of 1 ° C
- Low blank sample port ensures reliable low carbon measurement in resistance furnace
- XXL balcony for sample storage
ELEMENTS software:
- Comprehensive analysis and diagnostic tools (data and application export support, comment fields and many more)
- Report designer
- Lims
- Single and multi-point calibration
